Golden Signals for Agent Runs

A single success rate hides the runs that took four minutes and the ones that queued for an hour, so a system that looks healthy on the dashboard can still be unusable for the caller. This skill covers four signals worth watching together: the distribution of run duration rather than its average, the error rate split by class, how saturated the worker pool is, and how much work is currently in progress.

Commands

$ openclaw command add --name "golden signals" --trigger "/signals" --source "AWS Production" --message "Report run duration at the median and the ninety fifth percentile, the error rate split by class, pool saturation and the count of runs in progress."
$ openclaw alert-rule add --name "Run Latency Tail" --group-by "workflow" --window "10m" --action "Alert when the ninety fifth percentile run duration passes the target even if the average is still inside it"
$ openclaw alert-rule add --name "Error Rate by Class" --group-by "workflow" --window "5m" --action "Alert per error class so a small number of hard failures is not hidden by a large number of soft retries"
$ openclaw alert-route add --name "Golden Signals" --severity warning --channel slack --to "#ops-alerts"

Four signals, because one number hides the tail

Golden Signals for Agent Runs

# Four signals, because one number hides the tail A run success rate near one hundred percent is compatible with a system nobody can use. The runs that succeeded may have taken four minutes each, or queued for an hour first. A single number cannot show either of those. Watch four things together:
