Version a Prompt Like Any Other Artifact

A prompt is an argument to a model, and a small edit to it can change behaviour as much as a code change, but it is often edited in place with no record of what changed. This skill covers prompt versioning for agent systems: give every prompt a version and keep the old ones, record which version a run used so a result can be tied to the text that produced it, change a prompt on purpose with a measured comparison rather than editing live, and roll a bad prompt back to its known version instead of editing forward.
