Tombstones So Deletions Stay Deleted

Deleting a record and stopping there leaves nothing to say the record ever existed, so a replay, a replica sync or a queued write from before the delete can quietly bring it back. This skill covers tombstones: write a delete marker carrying the id and the deletion time, refuse any write older than the marker, expire the marker only after the retention window has passed, and report resurrection attempts instead of hiding them.

Commands

$ openclaw command add --name "audit deletes" --trigger "/tombstones" --source "AWS Production" --message "List tombstones written in the last day, how many late writes were refused because of them, and any record that reappeared after deletion."
$ openclaw alert-rule add --name "Record Resurrected" --group-by "table" --window "1h" --action "Alert when a record id that has a tombstone is written again by any source"
$ openclaw auto-fix add --name "Refuse Late Write" --condition "write_time < tombstone_time" --action "Reject the write, keep the tombstone, and record the source and the record id for the weekly review" --approval "auto" --notify "#ops-alerts" --max-runs "20 per day" --cooldown "5m"
$ openclaw alert-route add --name "Deletion Audit" --severity warning --channel slack --to "#ops-alerts"

That is fine until something replays: a sync from a replica, a retry of a queued write, or a restore that predates the delete. The old value comes back and nothin
